Olga's Testimonials
Dear Deborah,
I wanted to share with you some of the healing effects of yoga I experienced. I wonder if you know the same mechanism in yourself? I think it is possible to track something like this in people phenomenologically if the questioning is designed skillfully.
I've been doing Bikram and partly vinyasa for the last 6 years, non-stop. This week, I had dental surgery, and got a flu right after - muscle pains, fever, toxic stickness of liquids in the body. I say how this whole condition emerges first in my outer field, as if imposed on the healthy, intact core of me and my body, and then stays as a hood, or a cover, till it eventually penetrates through and knowcks down the healthy sense of embodied self. I saw before how viruses enter the body as energy, but this one was a large field consisting of all flu-relates states, and it was really like a covers coming from outside on my self.
I dragged myself to Bikram, and managed to get through one hour, enriching routine by lion pose. - finally, I broke into sweat, at reallysaw how my immune system, which was paralyzed by the invader, had the paralyzing toxin washed off the surface of its cells, - they were getting active again and defeted virus. Next day I've been teachning, fluwas gone.
There is a mechanism by which this virus disables the defense, sort of paralyzing immune celles. Yoga helped to clean it off, and the immunity was able to fight the invader. I winder if there could be other people with the same mechanism observed - maybe yoga can be used then to fight AIDS, because the immune paralysis is what happens in AIDS.
Wanted to give you this account - feel free to use for your diss.
