Stop and think, you have a choice to do something about it now and live a long, quality life or prepare to slouch over and watch TV a while longer.
I am determined to do something about this now, today. That's what I said three years ago.
We need strength, flexibility, endurance and balance. I tried weights, machines and running for over a year. They build strength and endurance but they ruin flexibility and do nothing for balance. Besides, they are really boring. What about Jazzersize? I can't last one five-minute dance so how am I going to fast-dance for an hour?
Then, two years ago, I tried yoga. Ah Ha! It does give you flexibility, endurance, strength and balance. It adds meditation to reduce frustrations and anxiety, a leading cause of heart attacks. It is aerobic. With the inclusion of spiritual philosophy, I learned that yoga is a complete exercise for mind, body and spirit. In addition, you set your own pace and you can practice anywhere, even in an airplane seat (sort of). What makes it fun is that you constantly meet new challenges and you improve every week.
Debora Cohen has studied and specializes in teaching yoga to people who are slowing down, stiffening up and want to regain a few years of youth. Her individual attention focuses on your body and your spirit, making your body younger, your spirit wiser and extending the quality of your life. For six hours a week she helps me learn how to sit up, stand straight, balance on my toes and meditate away my frustrations from working at a computer all day. She helps me make my 58-year-old body feel and look a lot younger.

Fees: $120.00 per session
Each session is 1 hour:
5 - 10 minutes of checking in and intentions,
35-40 minutes of energy work,
5-10 minutes of grounding
(still part of the energy treatment)
30 minute sessions are available at $60.00
Sessions are available only on Thursdays between 3PM and 8PM and Fridays between 9AM and 5PM. Contact Debora for available times and appointments.
