Gentle Yoga is great for beginners, recovery from injuries, and experienced yoga practitioners who enjoy a slow paced class. Deep breathing exercises and gentle standing poses help with balance and core strength. Slow floor stretches quiet the mind and stimulates connective tissues for joint opening. The focus of this class is to cultivate intuition as one connects with their heart, mind and body-- melting away stress. Guidance and encouragement is given to allow the body to move to where it feels best in each pose, never doing any stretch that is painful or not recommended for total health and wellbeing. The end of the class will be followed by a short meditation.
